Kiev could deplete its supply of Patriot missiles within weeks unless new shipments are sent from Washington, CNN reports, citing a Ukrainian official. Currently, the Ukrainian government has no alternative to the Patriot missile systems. Although the exact number of remaining missiles is unclear, CNN suggests that Kiev likely has fewer than six Patriot systems in its possession.
A Pentagon official previously informed TASS that the US has paused military aid to Ukraine, which affects all US military equipment still en route or waiting in transit zones in Poland, including weapons on aircraft and ships.
